Our Privacy Commitment
Monster Squad Entertainment, Inc. ("Monster Squad," "we," "us" or "our") is committed to respecting the privacy rights and concerns of all users of Monster Squad’s games, websites and related services, which we here collectively call the “Services”. As such, we have established and implemented this Privacy Policy to inform users of the Services how we use and protect the information we collect. By using any of the Services, you consent to Monster Squad's collection, use, storage, deletion and disclosure of information relating to you as set forth in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date set forth above and is only applicable to the Services and not to any other website that you may be able to access from the Services which may have its own data collection and use practices and policies.
This policy answers the following questions:.
Types of Information We Collect
Personal information means information that can be used to identify and contact you. If you do not want to disclose certain personal information to us, you will not be able to access certain aspects of the Services.
We collect personal information that you provide when you sign up for playtests, subscribe to our newsletter, participate in chat rooms, forums, polls, surveys, and questionnaires; participate in contests, sweepstakes, or other promotions; perform diagnostics for our Services or receive customer or technical support. You are solely responsible for your own personal information in instances where we have not requested that you submit such information to us.
We collect non-identifiable metrics and telemetry data regarding your use of our Services, including how long and how often you play the game. We use this information to help us troubleshoot problems and improve the Services. We try to anonymize this data by excluding information that identifies you personally.
We may collect information provided to us from digital distributors of our video games when you access our video games through the accounts you have created with those distributors. The disclosure of such information is governed by each digital distributor's privacy policy, and you should review each such privacy policy to understand how each digital distributor collects, uses and discloses your information. Any such information that we receive from digital distributors shall be governed by this Privacy Policy.
How We Use Your Personal Information
The personal information you provide to us will allow us to improve the Services; conduct research, including product testing and surveys; handle/route your customer service questions or issues; and/or notify you of upgrade opportunities, contests, promotions, or special events and offers. We also use your e-mail address to send you messages about the Services and other general announcements.
We keep track of your interactions with us, including but not limited to your activity within the Services. We may use personal information that you provide to us to send messages to you in response to your request to perform an activity in connection with your use of any of the Services. We may also use your personal information to contact you when necessary.
De-Personalizing Your Information
We may make your personal information non-personally identifiable by either combining it with information about other users (aggregating your personal information with information about other users), or by removing characteristics (such as your name or email address) that make the information personally identifiable. This process is known as de-personalizing your information. You grant us a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable and fully transferable right and license to use your personal information in connection with the creation and development of analytical and statistical analysis tools relating to the use of the customer data we collect through the Services (the "Analytical Data"). We may share aggregate or de-identified information with third parties for research, marketing, analytics and other purposes, provided such information does not identify a particular individual.
Cookies
"Cookies" are small bits of electronic information that a website sends to a visitor's browser and are stored on the visitor's hard drive. Like many websites, we employ cookies in certain areas of the Services to provide the Services, analyze use, target advertisements and prevent fraud. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
Log Information
Log information is data about your use of the Service, such as IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamps, and related data, which is stored in log files. We use this information to monitor and analyze how users use the Services, to provide customer service and to maintain and improve the Services.
Web Beacons
Third party tracking utility software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs) may be used to help us better manage content on the Services(s) by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. In short, clear gifs enable two websites to share information with one another. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our users’ personally identifiable information.
Tracking Pixel
A tracking "pixel" is a transparent graphic image (usually 1 pixel x 1 pixel) that is placed on a web page and allows for the collection of information regarding the use of the web page that contains the tracking pixel. Monster Squad may use third party ad servers to support tracking pixels and cookies.
"Do Not Track"
Your browser settings may allow you to automatically transmit a “Do Not Track” signal to online services you visit. Note, however, there is no industry consensus as to what site and app operators should do with regard to these signals. Accordingly, we do not monitor or take action with respect to “Do Not Track” signals or other mechanisms. For more information on “Do Not Track,” visit http://www.allaboutdnt.com.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under the age of 13, we request that you do not submit any personal information to us. No one under the age of 13 may provide any personal data. If we learn that we have collected personal data about a child under age 13, we will delete that data as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any data from or about a child under the age of 13, please contact us at legal@monstersquadgames.com.
Sharing of Information
We may use your personal information to provide analyses of our users in the aggregate to prospective partners and other third parties. We may also disclose and otherwise use, on an anonymous basis, affiliation, position, interests and other non-personal information about customers.
In addition, we will share the personal information we collect from you under the following circumstances:

The Services may also have message boards, forums and/or chat areas, where users can exchange ideas and communicate with one another. When you post to a message board, forum or chat area, please be aware that the information you post is made publicly available on-line and you do so at your own risk.

You agree that if the matter remains unresolved for forty-five (45) days after notification (via certified mail or personal delivery) that a dispute exists, all parties shall join in mediation services in Seattle, Washington with a mutually agreed mediator in an attempt to resolve the dispute. Should you file any arbitration claims, or any administrative or legal actions without first having attempted to resolve the matter by mediation, then you agree that you will not be entitled to recover attorney's fees, even if you would otherwise be entitled to them.
Dispute Resolution for Residents of the European Union
If you are a resident of the European Union, in the event that you have any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy, you may report your claim to the European Union Data Protection Authorities located in your jurisdiction.

If you are accessing the Services from outside of the U.S., please be aware that information collected through the Services may be transferred to, processed, stored and used in the U.S. Data protection laws in the U.S. may be different from those of your country of residence. Your use of the Services or provision of any information therefore constitutes your consent to the transfer to and from, processing, usage, sharing and storage of your information, including personal information, in countries other than the country where you are located, including the U.S., as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
